Greetings!

I use an M1 MacBook Air, so I have no need to patch my Mac to the latest OS.

However, I am just curious if OCLP will still work when Intel is completely dropped. Apple is likely to rewrite stuff to make it run exclusively on Apple Silicon.

Dual Samsung 850 pros, a 1TB and 500GB XD

Then I was wondering “what if it was only the installation process that failed?” E.g. maybe if I get it set up a different way like using newer Mac to install Ventura onto a SSD in a USB3 enclosure, I could plug that in to the 2012 and successfully boot?

I was doing it while cleaning house, not just sitting around waiting, so thankfully I didn’t actually waste that much of my active time on this 😂

Did you do the upgrade yet? My 2013 MacBook Pro is showing the upgrade but I’m scared I’ll brick the system if I upgrade

EDIT: Just updated MacBook Pro11,1 (late 2013) from macOS 12.6.1 to 13.0. Update OCLP to 5.0 first, and the install was flawless for me. Note performance will suck until you run OCLP again and install the post install root kit, that will install the graphics drivers (which surprisingly, it installed haswell drivers even tho 2013 MacBook is ivy bridge. Ventura will more than likely be the last OS supported on my 2013)

ONE VERY BUG: my ethernet to thunderbolt 2 adapter seems to connect and immediately disconnect if I am using a cable shorter than 3 feet, I switch to a 10 foot cable and the adapter is stable again
