지브리 파크 오픈 - jibeuli pakeu opeun

2005년 아이치 엑스포가 개최된 테마 파크 '사랑·지구박 기념 공원(愛・地球博記念公園)'의 빈 터나 기존 시설을 재정비하여 지브리 파크 제1기를 오픈하였습니다. 청춘의 언덕, 지브리 대창고, 돈도코 숲(토로로 숲)의 세 가지 섹션이 제1기로 먼저 오픈되었으며, 2023년 제2기로 '마녀 배달부 키키 테마 섹션, 모노노케 히메 테마 섹션'이 오픈 예정입니다.

파크 내에는 큰 어트랙션이나 놀이기구는 없고, 숲이나 길을 거닐며 지브리의 세계관을 구경하고 체험하는 구조입니다. 파크의 규모가 꽤 크므로 파크 내 무료 버스도 운영되고 있습니다. 지브리 파크(사랑·지구박 기념 공원)는 누구나 무료로 입장할 수는 있지만 지브리 테마로 재현된 공간은 티켓이 있어야 입장 가능합니다. 티켓 예매는 매달 지정일부터 선착순으로 할 수 있습니다. 각 섹션에 정해진 입퇴장 시간이 있으며 예매 시 시간을 잘 계획하여 시간이 겹치는 등 관람에 차질이 없도록 유의해야 합니다.

저는 오픈하는 11월 달에 맞추어 10월 지정일에 예매하였고, 다행히도 청춘의 언덕, 지브리 대창고, 돈도코 숲 모두 예매 완료할 수 있었습니다. 아직 1기 오픈으로 3군데밖에 개장하지 않았지만, 모든 섹션의 입장시간은 오전 9시부터 오후 4시이므로 개인적으로 하루 만에 세 군데를 모두 둘러보기에는 시간이 빠듯했습니다.

지브리 파크로 가는 방법은 열차, 버스 두 가지가 있습니다만 저는 티켓을 미리 예매할 수 있는 버스를 이용하였습니다. 차를 타고 갈 예정이었지만 파크 내 주차장이 없고 파크 주변에 따로 관광지도 없기 때문에 공식 안내에서도 대중교통 이용을 지향하고 있습니다. (언제가 될지 모르겠지만 추후에 주차시설을 증설하지 않을까 싶네요)

Dondoko Forest

Be transported into the world of My Neighbor Totoro at “Satsuki and Mei’s House”. At the top of the hill behind their house, sits “Dondoko-do”. Only kids are allowed inside Dondoko-do!
